Was at the home for about 2 1/2 years (until I unfortunately got kicked out) but still remember that place and the people I met while there. Think it would be neat to hook up with anyone who was there between 81-83. Doing great these days and hope everyone else is doing just as well.

my is known as JP by is friends at mch and we wouldnt have made it thru allhis trials and triubulations without Mr.Jeff and Ms rhonda at that time the bridwell home unit to this day i still talk to mr jeff and he still talks to JP and JP wouldnt be the man he his without MCH so rock on MCH I love everything about MCH I still give what i can to the home unit around the holidays it was a tough time for JP but he as been back and taked to some guys and gave his testimony at church about MCH so we are very grateful for MCH thank you Linda Johnson

As someone said the MCH only did me good! I am very grateful for the years I spent there. at that time we were all a very close knit bunch of kids. I left January 9th 1958 in the Airforce. and sorry to say never returned, and now somehow I'm yearning to see or even hear from my childhood friends!

I wold just like to say I went threw hell and back in th home but it made me who I am today I am strong and I have never gave up on life yes times are hard but I would not have made it threw life without the help of the home. As for everyone who has made it threw life with the memories of the home to guide them I am sure all of yall have thought back a few times to remember a situation and just past over it knowing it is not worth the trouble and some of yall still make the same mistake you did at the home. I love all you homers and always will if I know you now and still or know you ntif you are a homer you are my family. Love yall all

hmmm. i guess it was a lifesaver, had no where else to go. sexually abused at one home and not wanted at the other. hmmmm not much choice. i have chosen to block those days but would like to not, i think it was probably a life saver and will always remember it that way. anyone else there at that time? my name is Carrie Faegre

I lived at Mamie Mitchell Dorm and Ms Lively was the dorm mother. Mr. Ball was the Director. I was a problem child but thanks to MCH intervention, my life has turned out wonderful. This was a beautiful place and has done many good things for all the children who were blessed to be placed there.

Just browsing and found this website. Brings back many memories. Would love to hear from anyone who knew me then... Prothro and Perkins (senior year)were my units. Kathy Hudson (no relation) was choir director then, with Leslie Little as pianist. Mr. Jack was boss and Charlie Ratliff was head of our division then. Dub King did all the publicity via radio. Ginger Green was the Infirmary's Nurse.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the alumni staff who make our easter weekends a big success we had a record number come this year and hope to get even more to come next year.It was wonderful getting to see all my 80's brothers and sisters.As well as meet new friends.I had a very good time.

I was a homeparent at Daisy Merideth for 3 years, and I can honestly say these were the best years of my life. I am still in contact with some of my girls and I am finding more on Facebook. It was my privelege and pleasure to be a part of the success that is now thier life.
